Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she enjoys dumb action movies. She began her reviews at the end of 2009 and, when she began to gain some recognition (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. The website remained online through the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that focus on the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
