Anya Volz is a New York City-based comedian originally from Vermont. All across America, men have said that her comedy is astonishingly funny and not at all preachy. She has written and created the content for Riot Fest: The Hard Times along with Macaulay's Bunny Ears. Her work has appeared in BuzzFeed as well as Vulture as well as numerous comedy festivals across the country, including New York Comedy Festival and the Women in Comedy Festival. Taylor-Joy dropped out of school at the age of sixteen to pursue an acting career. Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English and one-half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father is an Argentine and has Scottish and English heritage. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. They were initially located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of six years old. Taylor Joy says that moving was a very difficult experience. She was not willing to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. She quit the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid and was sure she would eventually become an actor. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
